About The HKCBA
Founded in 1984, the HKCBA is a non-government, non-profit bilateral trade association with over 1,300 members in eight cities (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax) in Canada. Headquartered in Vancouver, it is one of the largest bilateral trade associations in Canada.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to help Canadian companies expand their business to Asia through Hong Kong and Asian companies expand their business in Canada. In addition, we facilitate a network for professionals and entrepreneurs to connect and develop high-level business relationships at HKCBA events throughout the year.
Through our network of government organizations and businesses, the HKCBA provides a forum for members of corporations and SMEs to receive information related to Hong Kong-Canada bilateral trade policies and regulations as well as gain access to trade and investment opportunities in both regions.
OUR GOVERNING OBJECTIVE
As an association, the HKCBA strives to deliver value by:

Engaging with government organizations and businesses to provide information on programs and initatives which promote Hong Kong-Canada bilateral trade and investment opportunities;

Creating a forum for corporate professionals and entrepreneurs to connect with each other;

Providing timely and relevant information related to trade and investment opportunities in Asia and Canada as well as market intelligence via our publications and events; and,

Facilitating access to global network of professionals and entrepreneurs through our membership with the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide.
